MEETING # 1   May 17, 2004

The meeting commenced at 7:02 p.m.

Steve Fletcher, swim coach at Ryder, described the summer swim camp opportunities at Rider. For more information, contact www.gobroncs.com or fletcher@rider.edu

 The evening’s agenda was approved.

 Housekeeping Items:

All teams need their insurance certificates for dual meets and for championships at Rutgers.  Rutgers certificates should be brought to the June 15 meeting.

PASDA dues are due.  $100 for each swim team and $50 for each dive team.

The swimming championship records were circulated and updated to that they can be put on the website—www.pasda.info

 Official’s Clinics:

There will be two official’s clinics this year.  One will be held at Nassau on Saturday, June 19 from 9 till 11 a.m. Cranbury will host a clinic on June 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Garden State Games are being held July 10 and 11. They are open to all summer swimmers.

The mini-meet is also on July 10.

Pam Owens needs team contact information from each team representative.

The minutes from the August 6, 2003 meeting were approved.

 Treasurer’s Report:

There is currently $13,688.0 on hand. We will need a new treasurer because Heather is no longer coaching a PASDA team.  $3,300 will be spent on medals for championships this year. $3,950 is needed to rent Rutgers for the day on July 27.

 Swimming Dual Meet Season:

Team alignments and divisions were set at the August meeting.  Hamilton has a problem with the June 29 date-it needs a bye.

In Division I and Division III, the July 22 date has been switched to July 1 in order that July 22 can become the raindate.

Nassau has only four working lanes this summer, so teams who will swim at Nassau will either work around this or make it an away meet for Nassau.
